I started Voltmotive NZ Ltd, (now At MOVERS n'TUGS) out of necessity created by the difficulty in moving my own boat around our section which had a long narrow driveway making backing and turning difficult. My only option was to struggle pushing the boat by hand, which grew increasingly frustrating, or find a solution to this problem. After searching on line I made contact with suppliers overseas, but their response was disappointing. They were mainly concerned with selling a large number of units and not particularly interested in assisting me with my immediate moving needs.

This made me take matters into my own hands, as a consequence the first Mighty Mover model rolled off the production line. The Mighty Mover has evolved over the years into the model we sell today. We'd like to thank our customers for their feedback over the years, as well as the engineers and design professionals who all contributed to the product's development.

We've recently changed our name to MOVERS n'TUGS and over time we'll be introducing a variety of moving products to complement our foundation product, "The Mighty Mover".
